Hindi Scholarship is a Scholarship being given by the Government of Kerala under a scheme of the Central Government to promote Hindi in non-Hindi speaking areas of the country.

Hindi Scholarship Applicants should be pursuing BA/BSc BCom after completing Plus Two with a minimum of 60% marks or should be undergoing a Post Graduate Course after completing Undergraduate course with at least 50% marks.

Hindi Scholarship Applicant should be studying in a Government/Aided College or a University Department and should be studying Hindi as a subject.

Those doing B Ed (Hindi)/M.Ed Hindi M Phil, Ph.D are also eligible.  Students who are undergoing full time UG/PG Courses of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha are also eligible. Hindi Scholarship Applicant should have passed the qualifying examination in the first chance itself. Hindi Scholarship Applicants should be permanently residing in Kerala.

The amount of Hindi Scholarship is Rs. 500/- per month for Under Graduate Programmes and Rs.1000/- p.m for Post Graduate Programmes. Hindi Scholarship Applications are invited by the Scholarship wing of the Directorate of Collegiate Education  Website:www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in.

Sanskrit Scholarship Eligibility Details

Sanskrit must be one of the subject in the present studying courseFOR

Sanskrit Scholarship is scholarship given for encouragement of study of Sanskrit. Sanskrit Scholarship Applicant should be a student of a Sanskrit College or a student of Arts & Science College or of Sri Sankara University of Sanskrit, Kalady, undergoing a course with Sanskrit as the optional subject.

Applicant should have studied Sanskrit as a subject in the qualifying course, and should have passed the examination in the first chance. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/-. However, a certain number of scholarships are given to meritorious students without considering the annual income of the family. Applicants should be permanently residing in Kerala.
